How to optimize your Twitter account to maximize the impact it has on the network.

It is simple, two basic steps will improve the amount of attention you receive, and this is the best kept secret that will help you become a Tweetstar.

1 – Your profile

There are 3 basic things you can change in your profile, so make them count.

A – Photo.   Please choose something that is attractive to everyone, BUT DO NOT use a Studio photo.  Keep it real, you know what your best attributes are, use them at your advantage.

B – Your Background.  It has to represent who you are, whatever your goals are; they have to be subliminally added to your background without making it look like an ad.

C – Your BIO.  Yes, you want to sell and you just want the world to know that you have the best product. Well, I am here to tell you: DO NOT let that be the main part of your bio, the moment that people perceive you as a sales person you are dead in the Twitter world.  Add what really interests you, which will get you commonality with your followers.

2- Finally this is the formula that will get you noticed:

IT IS ALL ABOUT ENGAGEMENT

Know your Audience and what they expect to read from you

+ Give them what they want

+ Be risky on your field, do not just go with the wind

+ Make sure you post at least 60% more regular content than advertisement to your product.

ALL OF THIS EQUALS = More Followers and RTs (which is equivalent to more exposure to the products you are selling)

Rental Spotlight

Ajijic and Lake Chapala have long been known as a dream destination for Snow Birds with its temperate climate, natural beauty and welcoming residents.  Now it’s also known as the ideal weekend getaway for our friends in Guadalajara who are in need of a little Rest & Relaxation.

One or my favorite properties that is ideal for a weekend holiday is Casa Camino Real located in beautiful neighborhood of La Floresta.  With the sparkling pool and outdoor BBQ, this home is delightful.

We have many wonderful places for you to stay while vacationing in Ajijic and Lake Chapala.  After you stay and fall in love with the area you will want to buy a place to eventually live in once you make the area your permanent home, but… which property to buy?  How about the lovely place you vacationed in?  Many of the Owners of vacation properties will also consider selling their properties.  Quite often the owner of the vacation rental has a couple of properties and actually enjoy wheeling and dealing in the Real Estate market, so… take a closer look and consider the idea of owning the wonderful place that you enjoyed so much on your vacation.  Psst!  Here is a link to a property where the Owner will consider selling: http://www.vallartaescapes.com/go/2012/04/mccann-downstairs-2-bedroom-in-ajijic-lake-chapala/

Restaurant Review

Feel like eating seafood? Tabarka restaurant is the place to come and enjoy great seafood….

If you are a fish lover, then here you will find what you are looking for, everyday they have a dish special with the freshest fish ever, of course if you will like ot try most of the dishes they prepare  then ask for Tapas, they have 5 different ones this way you get to try 5 different dishes of their menu they all come nicely served and,  ooh so good, just enough food for you to taste and  fill your tummy, but really the best part is the price all the tapas you can eat and all the wine or beer,  you can drink for $200 pesos per person…

This little restaurant is on the edge of Ajijic on the Carretera heading West to Jocotopec. The building has a good sized main dining area, which is open to an outdoor patio. While the outdoor seating area is on a major road, the restaurant is set back far enough that we didn’t even notice road noise.

The service was prompt, attentive and pleasant. The staff who there are bilingual in Spanish and English. They offer a starter of really good, fresh bread with some sort of garlicky spread that is delicious.
