The Loft Galeria is proud to present an exhibition of new and important paintings by artists both new and familiar to the gallery. These great painters, each unique in their approach to their work, are fundamental to the gallery’s fabric of excellence and value.
Upstairs Downstairs – 2010 happens to open on February 10, and February is the month the gallery has traditionally premiered new paintings by one of its favorites, Puerto Vallarta’s premier watercolorist, Meg Munro. Meg’s many fans and followers will not be disappointed. In this show we are treated to a stunning new collection of watercolors that continue her exploration of glass bottles as a basis of still life composition. Many know that Meg was recently bestowed with the Artist Magazine Award at the National Watercolor Society’s annual convention. Her award winning painting, Adieu Adios, is currently part of a touring exhibit in the United States throughout 2010.
Reynaldo Diaz Zesati returns to The Loft with new, powerful large-scale paintings from his Marat and Cronica series. Davis Birks provides a stunning new painting, The Red Curtain, a further development in his multi-planed visages on canvas.
First time gallery exhibitor Enrique Hernandez, premiers a beautiful new painting as well as several new smaller works on paper, fresh on the heels of his New York and Berlin experiences and Rodolfo de Florencia shows us new examples of his themes of finely realized paintings of love, beauty and destiny.
